The Women's Institute, Clay bank was formed in 1917 with a membership of 265 and disbanded in the 1970s. The Tweedsmuir History book profiles such events as war work, bridges, 50th anniversary, district annuals, branch history, farms, schools and churches; other records deal with the activities and causes that the Institute supported. Collection consists of minutes, correspondence, and a Tweedsmuir History Book ( 1917 - 1921; 1926 - 1980 )
