The Women's Institute, Pine Grove was formed in 1914 and continues to exist. The Pine Grove Chapter was responsible for knitting socks for the Red Shied war effort, having mail boxes named and sending treats of fruit to local schools at Christmas. Collection consists of three series: Minute Books (1944-1989); Tweedsmuir Histories (1914-1989); Golden Jubilee booklet (1963).
