Alex Staye was a prominent local figure and successful businessman. He was heavily involved in the preservation and promotion of local history. Collection consists of one scrapbook containing clippings about Waba Cottage and the Laird of McNab. There are also photographs of celebrations in McNab (1967), Waba museum displays, and logging.
