The Arnprior Horticultural Society was established in 1930. Its chief goals were to " encourage improvement in horticulture by holding meetings, exhibitions, distributing seeds and plants and offering essay prizes for topics related to horticulture". The collection consists of the 1934 annual handbook which lists the organization's officers, board of directors and members of the civic beautification committee.
