Genealogy Collection

The Genealogical Records Group is divided into two sections; public records and private records. Family histories and the personal papers of various individuals belong to the Private Records section of this group. Cemetery listings, microfilmed newspapers, and census returns are of a public nature. These sources are usually searched first when conducting genealogical research.
