Arnprior Area Death Notices 2000 - 2023

This CD in pdf format contains a list of death notices compiled from Arnprior Newspaper and Funeral Home Notices for the above years. There are more than 8,200 entries. The chart contains the name of the deceased, the date of death, and source of information. Where available, it also contains maiden name, date of birth, age, and spouse.

The "Township Papers" of McNab Township

This CD contains the documents pertaining to McNab Township from the miscellaneous Ontario Crown Land Records – 1825 to 1872.  There are more than 1,700 images.  A fully searchable finding aid of the documents has been created and is included.  All are in PDF Format.   ISBN: 978-0-9877630-0-6.

The Early Commercial Photographers of Lanark & Renfrew Counties , Ontario 1850-1925.

Written by Patrick and Judy Wohler, the book contains over 100 photographs plus bibliography and is a useful tool to help date and place photographs that bear a photographer's imprint.  The late Patrick Wohler was a Certified Genealogist and the author of eight books and numerous articles on history, education, museums, and genealogy.

The book provides a list of commercial photographers by town within the two counties, giving their known years of activity.  Biographical and historical notes of the photographers are presented, including sources and where their works can be located.  There are over 90 examples of imprints from more than 50 photographers.  This 60-page work also gives hints for dating photographs and an overview of the types of photographs and their care, handling, and storage.
